NEW PARKING – SHUTTLE SERVICE LOCATION:  Parking for the 2026 Machias Wild Blueberry Festival will be available at the DHHS and Career Center parking lots (38 and 50 Prescott Drive)!

Parking & Shuttles for the Blueberry Festival

There is limited parking in downtown Machias. A free park-and-ride shuttle service is available on Saturday from the DHHS and Career Center parking lots (38 and 50 Prescott Drive) off Route 1 near Hannaford.  A Hannaford lot may open if parking needs cannot be met at the Prescott Drive locations.  Transportation Hours: Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

A handicapped parking area is next to Machias Savings Bank on Route 1 (Main Street). An attendant at the parking area will call a shuttle buggy to take you to various festival locations. The Blueberry Festival Map shows the locations of all venues, parking, and shuttles.

Meals

Bathrooms and Other Services

There are plenty of bathroom facilities in the festival area. Porta-potties are available behind Centre Street Congregational Church in the green space, as well as in the Court Street parking lot.

A Recycle Friendly Event

Large white boxes for recycling bottles/cans are available in various locations around Centre Street Congregational Church.

Breast Feeding Friendly Event

Privacy areas are available at Centre Street Congregational Church for breast feeding.

Diaper Changing Stations

Diaper changing stations are available at Centre Street Congregational Church.
