This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival. Since 1976, the festival has celebrated our region’s wild blueberry heritage while welcoming thousands of visitors to Downeast Maine each year.

To help make this milestone celebration a success, we invite you to become a sponsor of the 2026 Machias Wild Blueberry Festival. Your support helps fund festival programming, entertainment, promotion, and infrastructure while providing valuable exposure for your business.

A special feature of this year’s festival is a free community concert on Sunday, August 16, featuring Julia Gagnon of American Idol fame, and her band.

We invite you to be part of this celebration by becoming a financial sponsor of the 2026 50th Anniversary of the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival.

Here are a few ways to support the festival and promote your business:

• Website Sponsorship – $150
  Your business will be featured for a full year on the scrolling banner at the top of our website, machiasblueberry.com. Visitors can click your ad to go directly to your website. Our site experiences its peak traffic from May to August.
• Porta-Potty Sponsorship – $250
  Get seen on festival weekend by sponsoring one of our 10 portable toilets. Your business name will be prominently displayed and will also be included on our website.
• Music Stage Sponsorship – $500
  Sponsor one of our main musical events held throughout the weekend on the church green. Each of the four sponsors will have their business name featured on a banner at the front of the stage and listed on our website.
• 50th Anniversary Concert Sponsorship – $1,000
  Top tier recognition is yours with this donation!  Be seen in all concert promotions, on-stage acknowledgments, banner placement at the concert venue, plus all festival sponsor benefits.

All sponsors are also listed in the printed program for the beloved Machias Wild Blueberry Musical, performed over four nights for hundreds of festivalgoers.
