Machias The 2026 Blueberry Festival T-Shirt Design Contest
We are looking forward to the 2026 50th Anniversary of the Wild Blueberry Festival and welcome submissions for the T-shirt design contest. The winner will receive, in addition to bragging rights and four free T-Shirts, a $100 cash prize.
The winning design will be used for the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival 2026 T-shirts. These shirts have become collector’s items for some folks!
The design will also be used for a United States Postal Cancellation stamp that is available during the festival, and for one month after the festival at the Machias, ME post office.
Designs should be simple and catchy to capture the spirit of this wildly-fun festival!
- Include the following words: 50th Anniversary of the Machias Wild Blueberry Festival
- Incorporate the year 2026 and the words Machias, Maine or (ME). Those elements can be small and inconspicuous, but are required.
- Keep in mind that this t-shirt needs to appeal to a very diverse population.
- Designs can be a drawing, painting, or copyright-free digital artwork. Digital artwork should be at 300 dpi.
- AI may be used as a supplemental tool but should not serve as the primary source of the artwork.
- The design should fit into a 12″ x 12″ space.
